Please be aware that we cannot store certain furniture items!  For a list of items which we cannot store please click here.

All mattresses and box springs must be protected with a mattress bag to ensure they are kept perfectly clean!  If you do not wish to purchase a bag from us, you must provide one on your own.


Storage Pickup Information
After selecting the date you would like your items picked up, choose an available pickup time window for that date.  24-48 hours prior to your pickup, you will be notified of a specific appointment time within your chosen 5 hour window! Unlike other companies, we do not make you wait around in your dorm for hours at end!






Please make sure to enter a Google Verified address above or delays in your order may occur! Once you begin typing your address in the box above, please select your Google Verified address from the options automatically populated.  Do not forget to include your zip code!




A few notes regarding your Room Service appointment:

24-48 hours prior to your selected window you will be notified of a specific 1-2 hour appointment window within the time frame you selected.  You will be able to track our truck throughout the day and will receive text notifications as our crew falls ahead or behind schedule.  

 

Our movers will come to your room but you will still need to answer our phone call/text, meet us out front, and escort us into your building!

 

Make sure to have your items fully packed and labeled to avoid delays and possible fees.  Your storage invoice will be added to your customer portal within 48 hours of your pickup.  Once you receive your invoice, you will have 7 days to pay online with credit card!

A few notes regarding your Main Entrance appointment:

Our Squad Members will not call prior to our arrival.  Simply watch the live feed and have your items outside when we arrive!

You have the option to have a friend, roommate, or parent meet our crew if your are unavailable during your appointment window. Make sure to forward appointment information to them and keep them in the loop throughout the process!

Protection 
We offer moving blankets to protect items from scratches and dings during normal handling!  These blankets measure 54" x 72".  If you wish to rent them ($5/each) they will be distributed during your supply handout appointment! 


Note - Ikea and other small particle board furniture items are not designed to be moved and transported. Our Squad Members will use extreme caution but in the rare event of damage we can only refund the amount paid to store the item. 
Declared Value

Each item you store includes $100 of free declared value protection.  Additional protection may be purchased and the cost is $5 per $100 of declared value protection added.  The maximum protection per item is $400 and the maximum protection for all your items combined is $1,000.  

Remember that insurance must be allocated on a per item basis and there are certain items like glassware, mirrors, Ikea furniture, and others (please check our Terms and Conditions) that cannot be insured!  Please note that the declared value protection refers to the total value of a package/item, not $100 for each individual article contained within an box, bin, suitcase, etc.

Exposure to and risk of any loss in excess of the declared value is assumed by the customer.  You may transfer this risk to an insurance carrier of your choice through the purchase of an insurance policy.  Contact an insurance agent or broker if you desire insurance coverage.  We do not provide insurance coverage of any kind.
Shipping Information

We ship all items via UPS. Items for shipping must be labeled separately from those which will only be stored.  Labels must be printed at the following link and attached to each shipping item.  Remember to fill out labels separately from storage items including the total item count! Print labels for shipping here! Make sure to also prepare your items for shipping according to our packing guidelines!

Delivery Information




The deadline for scheduling your delivery date has passed! Please contact support@storagesquad.com to change your delivery date.

We begin the deliveries each day between 8-9am and continue throughout the day.  You will receive your specific delivery window 2-10 days before your delivery date.  You will also be able to track our truck throughout the day as your delivery crew approaches!

If we cannot reach you and you miss your delivery appointment, there is a $30 charge.  Customers who live in off campus housing can give us the option to drop the items off unattended (similar to UPS). Please note that this releases Storage Squad of all liability in the rare event that your items are lost, stolen or damaged when they are outside of our control.

You have the option to have a friend, roommate, or parent meet our crew if your are unavailable during your appointment window. Make sure to forward appointment information to them and keep them in the loop throughout the process!
