Scheduling Request Type

If you are scheduling a pickup in December and a delivery in January, please choose "I need to have my items picked up and delivered." If your items are already in storage, choose "My items are in storage and I need to request to have them delivered" and if you just need your items picked up, but aren't sure exactly when you're returning to campus, choose "I need my items picked up but don't know my deliver date/details yet."

Packing Supplies

Our Mega Box (Click to View) only comes in one size - 24x18x16 - and the average customer uses between 3 to 6 of these. Unsure how many boxes you need? No problem. Request as many as you would like and return any unused boxes to Storage Squad free of charge when we pick up your items.

Don't need Mega Boxes? No problem!  However we need to make sure you label all your items properly.  You can print your own labels here

Please be aware that we can only store furniture which can be moved by ONE of our Squad members. Anything larger cannot be stored by us.  We can, however store your mattresses and box springs.  Any questions? Contact support.
Storage Pickup Information

Where are we picking up your items from?

You have the option to have a friend, roommate, or parent meet our crew if your are unavailable during your appointment window. Make sure to forward appointment information to them and keep them in the loop throughout the process!


Items like mini fridges and mattresses can get scratched or dirty during normal handling. We offer extra protection for an additional $10 per item (or free if your order total is greater than $300). This includes moving blankets or plastic wrap for standard items or mattress bags for mattresses or box springs, and plastic wrap for mini fridges.

Remember to pack responsibly and to put all electronics or small appliances in the original packaging. The protection we offer is not meant to take the place of original packaging for electronics or fragile items.

Ex: 1 full mattress and box spring, 1 end table, 1 mini fridge
Note - we only take items for storage that can be carried by one person (except mattresses). Ikea and other particle board furniture items are not designed to be moved and transported! Our Squad Members will use extreme caution but in the rare event of damage we can only refund the amount paid to store the item. 

In the rare event of loss or damage, each unit in your order (aside from electronics and appliances not in the original packaging) is automatically insured for $100. You can purchase additional insurance for $5 per $100 increment of insurance. Remember that insurance must be allocated on a per item basis and there are certain items like glassware, mirrors, Ikea furniture, and others (please check our Terms and Conditions) that cannot be insured!

Shipping Information

We ship all items via UPS. Items for shipping must be labeled separately from those which will only be stored.  Labels must be printed at the following link and attached to each shipping item.  Remember to fill out labels separately from storage items including the total item count! Print labels for shipping here! Make sure to also prepare your items for shipping according to our guidelines!

Since you likely don't know when and where exactly we'll be delivering your items, we'll have you fill out more details at a later time.  For now, please tell us roughly when you need your items back.

Delivery Information

Where are we picking up your items from?

IF we cannot reach you and you miss your delivery appointment, there is a $30 charge.  Most customers use this option to allow us to drop off the items unattended if we are unable to reach them. Please note that this releases Storage Squad of all liability in the rare event that your items are lost, stolen or damaged when they are outside of our control.
